Maybe he doesnât deserve to live after all. After easily dispatching some malraas, I removed my pack and began to plant my charges along this ridge.â Xarga told me to prove myself by taking explosives to those sites and uncovering the caches, if they exist. They found three sites that looked promising. ÂA patrol was sent to look for weapon caches in this region. But that might be too easy.įirst, letâs find out if he deserves to live. If we wanted to be total jackasses, weâd hit that switch in front of us and blow him to kingdom come. Thereâs our lost Mandalorian up on the ridge there. ÂI'm not hauling a dead body all the way back to camp.â If you find his body, just bring it back.â ÂIf Kumus wasn't dead he'd be back already. I instruct our rawer Mandalorian recruits in the ways of discipline and battle.â The droids booby-trapped the place and shut themselves down when the Mandalorians failed to return after being defeated on Dxun. The backstory for this little weapons cache was that Mandalore (the old one that Revan killed) was directing the Mandalorian War from Dxun when the Republic troops invaded. Weâll pick⦠uh, âRampageâ mode sounds promising.

The droid foreman has the code to activate all the droids. Theyâre blocking access to the crates, so weâll have to figure out a way to move them aside.

Weâve cleared all the mines, but thereâs still these damn robots in the way. Same with Hanharr if youâre evil, though he doesnât have the same affinity with Mandalorians as Mira. She has plenty of extra dialogue with other NPCs, and her Demolition skills come in handy. Luckily itâs mined to all hell.Īctually, Dxun is really Miraworld you really should take her along here on your playthroughs. Right now youâre probably thinking, who the fuck cares about some fictional biological ecosystem in a videogame, right?Īnyway, the door we blew open leads to this weapons cache. None of this is explicitly explained, you just have to pay attention. If you look carefully at the dead animal bodies on the ground, youâll see the Bomas prey on Maalraas and Cannoks, and then the Bomas get eaten by Zakkegs, which are giant Anklyosaurus-type things weâll meet later. The first cutscene you see when you arrive is a Maalraas attacking Cannoks. Of all the little details on Dxun, one of the most subtle ones is the establishment of an actual food chain. These things are Bomas, which kinda look like this: Nothingâs ever that easy, is it? The explosion woke up a giant pack of beasts.

Thereâs the hidden ammo cache Mandalore told us about.

Star Warsâ¢: Knights of the Old Republic series I have TSLRCM 1.8.3b, M4-78, and Extended Enclave mods installed. My question to experienced players is this: If I continue from the unmodified save, will I have an opportunity upon returning to Dantooine to talk to Zherron or in some way get this quest off the books or will it just linger there incomplete? As silly and compulsive as this might seem, I think it may have saved me hours of redundant playthrough, which can become quite frustrating. Them I used the savegame editor on that duplicate current save to set the quest to completed and adjust my credits and xp/party xp appropriately. I made a copy of that current save and completed just that 'Cave Crawling' quest from an earlier save to se what the reward for it was.

I'd like these two games much more as crpgs if they weren't so full of bs like this (*cough* airspeeder *cough*) that punishes a nonlinear approach, which is my natural way of playing. I ratted out Zherron for spying before collecting the reward for the 'Cave Crawling' quest (eliminating the kinrath matriarch.) Now I get no dialog options with him, the quest lingers as unfinished, and I was seriously cheated out of the credits and xp just because I talked to the characters in the wrong order.
